Artwork

My artwork represents how I interpret singular events, observations, and feelings as I process them. Because I am an art teacher, rather than an artist, I haven’t gotten hung up one type of medium- I enjoy several of them. The medium, style, subjects, and themes I use in any given work are determined by the experience I want to capture, the skills I’m attempting to develop, or both.

What I tend to gravitate towards in artwork are: statements or sarcastic humor with graphics, attempted through comics or by incorporating symbolism into objects, or sheer appreciation for the natural world.

While most of my artwork is for sale, either through messaging or through cooperating galleries, I am also open to commissioned work, whether it be smaller artwork or murals.

Murals

I’ve created murals in the interiors & exteriors of local businesses, schools, & homes. I am focused on murals that include organic shapes, environmental graphics, text, or all of the above. My murals have ranged in prices $200-$2,000.
